With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

Getting Around:
You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

Charleston week for the big 60
The house was quaint and in the historic district. Plenty of room for our group of five. Pulling out of the driveway was difficult but with someone watching the traffic and guiding it was really no problem. I was aware from previous reviews. The building next door has an iris mural which made the house and driveway easy to fine.

Location is great, very clean and comfortable. The only recommendation is that needs some extra kitchen supplies, (like serving bowls). The bodega right on the corner was very convenient for last minute stuff. I will definitely choose to stay in this place again

this was our 2nd time staying at the property. last trip was 2 years ago. our hosts are wonderful and communicated very effectively. my only complaint if there is one has nothing to do with the host but the area. too much noise at night this time. people being loud at 3 am and multiple police and fire sirens. was difficult to sleep

Great Charleston stay!!
My parents and I went to visit my daughter at C of C and wanted a place close to school and the comforts of home. This home was perfect! Great neighborhood, private parking spot, clean home, well furnished and so clean! The hosts were super easy to communicate with! Beds were comfortable and they provided everything we needed to make a few meals. We will definitely come back to this property!

Hurricane Debby did not get us down
Despite the weather, we had a great time! Comfy beds, warm showers, and plenty of space for the 6 of us. Great location to downtown, just far enough that we did not flood, but close enough we could get a good walk in on the 2 days that did not rain. Charleston is lovely, and this property is super cute.

Great little Charleston gem!
We had a wonderful few days in Charleston and "Downtown Charleston Home" was great! We loved the location and the inside was just so comfy and exactly as stated on website. Our sisters weekend was just perfect here with plenty of room for everyone. We loved the welcoming pink door too! Highly recommend Island Provisions for coffee and a bagel, very short walk. Also Fleet Landing is the BEST place for dinner on the water. Make reservations in advance though, they as they fill up. We can't wait to come back to Charleston. Enjoy your stay in this great little gem!

Good Location Tidy and Spacious
Location is close to many restaurants, shopping and sight seeing. Place was spacious for our group of 5 adults. Place was clean and included anything we needed for our stay. Air conditioning did not work our first night but when we called in the morning they got someone to fix it while we were out for the day.

House was great, property management was great! Communication was quick and helpful when needed. Neighborhood is walkable, but property is located towards the end of shops and restaurants. It seems to be an up & coming neighborhood. Felt safe. Beds were comfortable. Would stay again.

To the spot on explanation of the property, to the easy check-in/check-out process, this property is a great property. Easy walk to many restaurants and bars and a short uber ride to the rest of the attractions in historic Charleston, this property is a great stay. Added bonus was the parking spot. Charleston did not look like an easy place to park. We had a great time at this Property.

Stayed here with a group of friends for a girls trip. The place was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed - including plenty of pillows and towels. The location was central to a lot of areas and downtown was an easy 30 min walk. Communication was fast and checkin/out was easy. Would definitely stay here again!

Sweet Charleston home
I chose this home for our three day stay in Charleston because the photos and description fit our group of four well. The layout worked for us. One photo was a bit misleading, and that is the laundry area. The door on the dryer side inhibits the dryer door from being opened completely. We did use both washer and dryer, and managed to retrieve our clothes from the dryer but it was a challenge. My sister in law and I both agreed that by removing those doors and placing a sweet curtain or some other covering would enhance the laundry area. That was the only hiccup we found, from a usage standpoint. This home served its purpose for us, and communication with Maggie was superb.

The home was immaculate and well stocked. A short walk to King Street, Uber to the market. Parking was perfect. We had a few questions before we checked in and the response was quick. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!!
