"What a lovely place. Built in 1877 it has a lot of character. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Great location, just a 10 min or less walk to downtown Bath. Only negative thing was being an old building the heat is not able to be adjusted and it was very hot in our room. Overall it was a great stay."

"A lovely stay in a beautifully renovated Georgian mansion. Modern tasteful décor, clean spacious room (king bed), wonderful breakfast. Free parking out front, early arrival recommended to get a spot. Pleasant 10-minute walk to central Bath. "

"This was so convenient to walk to anything you might want to do in Bath without the noise that comes with being in a busy city centre!! The building is gorgeous and the staff were so helpful and knowledgeable about the city. Will definitely be coming back here next time I’m in Bath!"

"Interesting experience! Great location and value for Central Bath - both the room and parking. Would have given more stars except for these niggles: Tried to book parking in advance and as other reviews say got nowhere… On arrival we were early for check-in but called the mobile number provided at the hotel, arranged parking and room key so all ok (we thought…) , then a slight hiccup getting in at end of our evening but was quickly sorted when I messaged and was sent a very helpful video!...

"Easy access and clean throughout. Large studio with all you need for a night away. Clifton Village right on your doorstop. Although parking underneath the apartments, this is for only 6 cars so we were unable to get a space. It would be difficult to get a space on a weekend I would imagine. Parking available in the neighbouring streets where available."

"Very good. Clean, comfortable, quiet (at least it is on the quiet side. I can't vouch for what they call the "city view" side, but I very much appreciated being offered the choice. Friendly staff, nice rooms, late bar, good location, though there's not too much immediately around the hotel because it's right on the main road."

"This is a regular stay for me and always enjoyable. Service is generally excellent and the spa is fun. My only criticism this time would be the cooked breakfast- nasty puck like hash browns and not a great sausage. I expect better given the level of service elsewhere. Stick to the continental brekkie."
