Beautiful location in the countryside - peaceful and relaxing. Stephanie and her family have done a fantastic job rebuilding an historic property (with work continuing to further expand). The photo's are spot on, the rooms are well apportioned, the common areas are massive, and the back garden is superb!
We had 13 in our group and never felt crowded (our section section had accommodations for 19). Everyone of us - including the teens and under-25's - thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Central to the Champagne region, close to Reims (under 1 hour) and just over 2 hours to Paris and Brussels, the location is perfect for exploring.
Stephanie is accommodating and quick to respond to email and texts; her English is excellent, so we had no difficulty communicating.
Keep in mind, this is a traditional 16th century castle: lots of stairs, no central air, creaky floors, etc. But it is absolutely charming, every room has an en suite, WiFi is good, outdoor living is perfect.
All of us have already talked about a return trip - we can't wait to see the progress they make on the remaining sections of the castle!
