You will be hard pressed to find a more relaxing screen porch with unbelievable views and sunsets. Totally remodeled home ready to invite you in to enjoy a wonderful time with family and friends. Screen porch has two couches, tables to eat and rocking chairs. Dock or boat ramp is great to swim and fish off of. Want to sleep in? Blinds plus black out curtains will help you catch up on sleep. Publix is ten minutes away and that will be the only time you want to leave. Grill is new just like all the appliances. Two hours from Charleston, 1 hour from Greenville, two hours from Charlotte and three hours from Atlanta. 35 minutes to Williams Brice traffic (not taking in to consideration game day traffic.) If you can't make the game watch it on the 82 inch TV in the den with views of the lake out the 9 foot sliding glass door.

Beautiful home and stunning views
Oh what a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful and updated. The screened porch with the view is stunning. If you are traveling with older adults in your group, BE AWARE the living area has a step down and you step up when you leave it. My 76 year old mom nearly fell on multiple occasions. The front door also has the door jam raised and everyone in our party tripped on that multiple times. Ha. Just thought id share. Its furnished very nicely. I would recommend bringing your own throw cover as there was only one throughout the home and we enjoy cool mornings on the porch. Be sure to also bring your own soap and shampp for showering as none is provided. We so much enjoyed our stay and would stay again and again. Just look down while walking.

Vacation on the lake
The property was beautiful and directly on Lake Murray. It was also what we expected based on the pics and description on VRBO however, are stay was 4 nights and Helene Storm came through on our first night so we were without power and use of appliances, lighting, AC, etc for the entire 3 1/2 days that remained. Both couples also had to share the master bath since the other bathrooms had not windows and were dark even during the day. We also had to limit use of the showers/hot water as not to run out. We understand that the storm was out of Clint's hands however, we did ask him for some type of refund since we did not use any electricity and certainly were unable to take advantage of the amenities the home had to offer. We have not even received a response from Clint as the whether or not he is willing to give us a partial refund of the price we paid. May we also suggest that a generator would be beneficial for renters in cases such as this. We would appreciate any partial refund Clint could give us. Thank you,

We’ve been staying at Murray for the past 14 years and this home is the best one we’ve stayed in yet. Plenty of parking. Plenty of room inside the home. Host allowed use of the garage which was such an added bonus. Everything was perfect and look forward to booking the same home again next year.

Very nice, quiet home for a family get away. Maybe the most comfortable beds ever. The house is so well insulated that you do not hear noise from other rooms, not even from a 2 yr old. The decks and view were my favorite.

Perfect for a Family Gathering
Despite a hiccup or two, the owner was very responsive and we had a terrific stay here over Christmas where we were able to host Christmas Eve and Christmas dinners for nearby family. Plenty of room in the kitchen, seating inside for 12 to dine, as well as a lot of sofa and chair space. The house is still being renovated, but what has been done thus far is beautiful, as are the lake views! The outdoor screened deck was a great place to hang out on the warm afternoons. We would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful lake retreat
Enjoyed our short fall break at this wonderful house. The house is well appointed and has a fully stocked kitchen. The screen in porch with lake view was relaxing for morning coffee and evening meals. Everything about the house was first class and fit our family perfectly. Location on the lake is excellent.

We had a great time on our Lake Murray vacation! Loved the location of this house. The ramp and dock were great to have on property given we brought our boat. The house space was good and we all enjoyed the screened porch! Ate there for most meals. There was a garage but that space was more of a construction area so not usable for us. We did have an issue with dog hair on the furniture, particularly the porch sofas. That was unexpected but luckily we had a lint roller. Not what we thought we would be doing upon arrival. The door knobs need checking as some were on backwards and some did not lock. The septic tank buzzer went off daily but there is a button to push to make it stop. The neighborhood was mostly quiet and the cove made a nice view.

Lake Murray-Chapin, SC.June 2023 Stay
The renovated house, private boat ramp, and dock were the best! The lake view from the back screened porch are hard to match, beautiful not to forget, fishing off the dock. We launched and docked our 20’ pontoon boat at the property, no driving to a Marina needed! Ample parking for trailer and cars. Owner Clint was very responsive to our pre arrival questions and if we needed anything during our stay! Nice quiet area and close to Chapin for groceries and dining. Perfect location for our vacation at Lake Murray SC
Really enjoyed the stay as the house had every convenience one would expect. The dock and ramp on the property were perfect for launching our bass boat and the screened in porch was really enjoyable. The location was very close to Chapin SC shopping and eateries. The neighborhood is really nice and the neighbors were also very friendly. Will definitely be looking into a return trip. Owner was very responsive to questions prior to our trip which we really appreciated.

Lake house was comfortable & had lots of room. Porch was wonderful. Great dock. Master didn’t have mattress cover and the trash outside was full when we arrived, but the kitchen was well stocked and we had a great stay.

Beautiful Home with All the Amenities!
Everything about the home and the property was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked (we were able to cook every meal at home during our almost week long stay) and there were so many games and amenities to keep ourselves busy! My only recommendation would be to update the listing to reflect the actual layout of the bedrooms; there’s (2) bedrooms with (2) Queen beds apiece and (1) bedroom with (1) King bed. The listing shows (2) bedrooms with (1) King bed. Looking forward to our next stay here!!

Beautiful Lake House
Our stay was perfect. Outstanding home on the lake. Home was furnished with everything you needed and exactly how it was listed. Clint responded promptly when had issue with lock box. My husband and dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was big and would be great for several families especially with kids. Didn't want for anything. Very quiet and beautiful neighborhood. Coming from Utah the home was convenient to the town of Chapin and surrounding areas. Highly recommend. Can't wait to return the Chapin area for another stay.

It is a beautiful place with awesome scenery we had a great time. The only thing is we could not adjust the temperature of the house. All three of the control panels were touchscreen and all 3 went blank within an hour of arrival. It was unfortunate that we could not regulate the temperature ourselves.

Amazing Lake House
We are new to the area and our home is being renovated, so we wanted a place to stay for my son’s 13th birthday, and this was the perfect place. My son kayaked every morning. We enjoyed the massive deck and beautiful lake views. The house was very clean and the neighborhood was peaceful. Everything that we needed was available and the location is great for food delivery. Additionally, we were close to the soccer complex in Irmo. We have stayed at homes all over Europe and the US and I have never felt the need to return, but this place is an exception. I will recommend this home to all of my friends and family.

Great weekend on Lake Murray
My husband and I booked for a weekend getaway for our 25th anniversary. This house is awesome and on a great part of the lake. Even though Hurricane Ian decided to show up on our weekend, we still had a great time and were able to get out on the lake a couple of times. House has a great TV for watching football! I can't say enough about how nice the homeowner, Clint, was and how responsive. A great weekend! We will rent this one again!

Great remodeled home with unbelievable view and lake access
I would highly recommend this newly remodeled home with large dock and unbelievable lake view. Great location in nice neighborhood, 10 minute drive to grocery store, restaurants, etc. We enjoyed hanging out on the giant screened porch overlooking the lake while the boys spent their time fishing on the dock. The home has been recently remodeled and is well appointed for a getaway. Clint was great and very responsive. Would definitely recommend and plan on booking again!
