"On the plus side the staff were very helpful and friendly despite not speaking any English - we got by with a translation app. The room was big, had its own indoor and outdoor balcony, a great view of the lake and a roll top bath next to a huge window looking out on the lake. Really handy place to stay if you are going to Qilu University of Technology as it is quite far out of Jinan. As a resort the facilities looked good but I didn't have a chance to use any. "The staff at the hotel were fantastic. The food was very good and the location was great. On my first morning at breakfast, the dining room manager said I looked a little tired and I told him that my room was very warm and I did not sleep well. He brought me a coffee and reported my information to the front desk. The thermostat could not be changed in the room and temperature could not be adjusted so the room was quite warm. When I checked at the front, they had informed me that the manager of the dining room had reported the concern and they could move my room which I decided not to do, so they then brought a fan and opened one of the windows to help. The staff was very kind working hard to make my stay comfortable, the location was great, gym was good, food was great and staff was very attentive. The general manager Neil Li was very attentive and checked in on my stay as well which I appreciated too."
