Leo Hostel

2.0 star property
7.0 out of 10, Good, (10)
"This place was horrible. A nightmare in China! I woke up with bed bugs and I saw cockroaches crawling in kitchen during dinner. I don’t know how ppl rate it so high. I guess it is good if you are looking for something very cheap, but you get what you pay for! You were warned. "

Peking Station Youth Hostel

2.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (52)
"Advertised as a private room but was actually a dorm (same story reported by other travelers). Sheets instead of curtains. Told off for talking at 11pm. Noisy repairs underway from 7am. Floors never swept, tables sticky. Gave the property 3 days notice I would be leaving early but they still refused even a partial refund for the remaining nights, leaving me hundreds of dollars out of pocket. Absolute money grubbing. Stay away."

Beijing Leo Courtyard - Hostel

2.0 star property
7.2 out of 10, Good, (24)
"Upon arrival, my booking could not be found for approximately 20 minutes which was inconvenient. The room was spacious (shared female dorm room for 6 people) but the beds had to be made ourselves and the mattresses were extremely thin so it was a hard surface to sleep on. There was extremely bad wifi at the room, it was too weak to load websites. The showers were warm and the bathroom facilities were generally good. Okay hostel for the price, could be cleaner in general and wifi could have been...

Beijing Badaling Great Wall Caos Hostel

2.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (3)
"In my opinion the accommodation is a little overpriced and the customer pays upfront & is unable to cancel or amend. The owners and staff are warm and friendly .The accommodation is within easy walking distance of the S2 Railway Station but it is necessary to be met off the train as it is situated in area that is undergoing major building projects and it would be a little difficult to find. There is no proper road leading to accommodation so not suitable for wheelchair or people with poor...

There is no road noise and the location is very quiet. easy access to Dongsi Metro station. The wifi is slow and intermittent but otherwise still useful. the staff are always available and speak english. I would stay again given the location."

Forest Youth Hostel

2.0 star property
2.0 out of 10, (2)
"Hello all, Due to china government policy, no cheap rooms for foreigners, the owner of this hotel was arrested my china police (Kongan) and this hotel facility was shut down few weeks ago. I was stranded on the street and the phone call was not answered. The previous employee of this hotel answered and she said that she didn't receive my payment and she is not working at this hotel anymore. Be aware of those cheap hostels in China. They are closed or scams to get your money. Thanks."
