There was restaurants shops and grocery within a 1 min walk. The house itself is very charming and had plenty of room for all of us. "We stayed here for a few weeks to celebrate the Christmas holiday. The place is very clean and well maintained, with modern furnishings and amenities along with a well stocked supply of anything you could need. The owners Jay and Morgan were lovely and communicative. Wonderful location in South Kensington, close to restaurants, shops and the underground. Highly recommend!"

"Good property with a 5-10 minute walk to the King's Cross train/underground. Also, plenty of bar and restaurant options including one right out the door to the right. The beds were good. A good place for my son and I."

"Sandra and Jamshed were there to welcome us despite our late and stormy arrival. They opened their hearts before their home. The location is excellent in a lively street and close to the underground metro station and bus stops. The apartment was explained in detail, but what really attracted us were the many details that drown you when you look at them. "Handy location. Suitable for couple. Very small kitchen, looked sufficient for short stay. We only used kettle and toaster, ate out or with family who lived nearby. Host aware made us aware of electricity outage - all sockets apart from kitchen. This meant no TV and had to charge phones, etc, in kitchen. Not fixed during our 4 night stay, hopefully fixed by now. No discount offered for this lack of full services."

"Family of 4, two kids 19 and 20 stayed for five days - took in two football matches, 5 or 6 museums, christmas lights on every street, ancient bookstores and all of it within easy, safe walking distance. Would definitely stay here again. Anthony made things very easy and was prompt in response. "

"Beautiful townhome that was well appointed. Host was very attentive and communicative. Furnishings were top notch, comfortable and clean. Comes with a/c, washer/dryer and stocked kitchen which was great. No lift. Stairwell a little steep and tight so not a perfect option for people with ambulatory issues. "We stayed in this house for Christmas and enjoyed our time. The location is convenient to get to stores, restaurants and the Underground. The previous reviews were spot on, though. The hot water runs out pretty quickly, so we scattered our showers. Also, there had been a previous accident in one of the bedrooms and we spent time trying to clean up the smell. That was disappointing, but we made the best of it. "
