"This is a wonderful modern hotel. The room was great, great views. Friendly staff. An awesome wellness area. Great dinners and the breakfast was amazing. They will pick you up and take you to the train station for a fee. Easy to get there by taking the gondola to Furi and then a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Would love to go again!!"

"The Hotel Helvetia was perfect for my short stay in Zermatt. I had read many of the previous reviews so I was prepared. The hotel is a short 5 minute walk from the train station, there is no elevator and my room was quite small but had a balcony overlooking the street filled with people. The hotel is surrounded by shops and restaurants. This hotel was quite reasonably priced and in a great location."

"A well run family hotel. You can tell that the family owner really cares about his guests and staff. They were very attentive and accommodated all our needs. Meals were wonderful and it is in a great location in Zermatt. Definitely plan to return."

"Very nice in a modest, rustic alps way. Great location, minutes from ski rental, lifts, train and Zermatt town center. Very clean and if you are lucky enough to have Matterhorn view with balcony (i did) you have one of the best views in all of Zermatt. Staff are very nice and helpful. On our 2 week tour of Alps, Paris and Venice (including our 4 nights at 5 star Hilton Stucky) this was our favorite destination, a large part due to this hotel! thank you Hotel Perren"

"The Hotel was perfect. It had everything to make our week in Zermatt perfect -- Great Breakfast, Great Location and very comfortable rooms. They picked us up at the train station and the service never ended until they delivered us back for departure. "

It is a 5-6 minute walk to the August Arch and the pedestrian shopping street where there are many small purveyors of local cheeses, salamis, wines, coffee bars, and restaurants.In addition there are many retail stores selling clothing, leather goods, etc.It is a 5 minuter drive to the Pila GondolaPhotos of the apartment were a little less than accurate. Great hotel in a fantastic location!

"Charming hotel in a fantastic location. Rooms were quite large for a European hotel. Beds were very comfortable, rooms were clean. Steps away from the main plaza and several outstanding restaurants only minutes away walking. I will definitely come back to Aosta and stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Great stay!"

"Neues stilvoll modern eingerichtetes Hotel. Sehr saubere und zweckdienlich eingerichtete Zimmer. Ruhig an guter Lage in der Nähe der Altstadt, günstiger gesicherter Parkplatz buchbar. Sehr freundliches Personal. Hervorragende Küche mit fantasievollen sehr leckerem Angebot. Perfekter, freundlicher und äusserst kompetenter Bedienung inkl. Weinempfehlungen (Grazie Rebecca). "Loved the breakfast, really great options, above and beyond. Staff courteous and helpful without being overly warm and welcoming. The hot tub/spa is 25 euros per person for 2 hours, honestly this is way too expensive and not clear on hotel listing. The room was spacious with a good view and amenities, loved the little coffee machine.The area itself is very lively with lots to see and do within an easy walk of the hotel."

"This was our favorite hotel on this trip. The staff was amazing and responsive via Expedia contact. Great breakfast. Worth paying for. It was within a walking distance to the next town Saint Vincent. We loved the balconies. The only feedback we have is to get more thick pillows. The pillows were pretty thin."

Absolutely perfect

"Loved everything about this place. - loads of free parking spaces - decor and general ambience were excellent - rooms were very clean and plenty big enough - on site bar - breakfast was very good, choice of everything - best bit was the staff. All extremely friendly and helpful. It really did feel like a family run place. - views from the lounge and outdoor terrace were very impressive. Can only give it 10/10"
