"Not for everyone as the location is remote. Plan on renting a car to get there. Breathtaking views, clean air and a step back in time. Only stayed 1 night as part of a romp across France. Plan to go back and spend a few days to properly explore. And yes, it’s a real castle!"

"Myself and my girlfriend spend a couple of days in this hotel, which I can honestly say was one of the best experiences that we’ve ever had. The owners, Werner and Melinda, are such a wonderful couple who make you feel welcome from the minute you walk in the door of this magical place. "We spent a really relaxing week in this away cosy cottage. The heated pool is fantastic – our first four days were very hot and it was brilliant to be able to use the pool to relax and cool off. The grounds around the cottage are mainly meadow with some wonderful old trees and also an abundance of buddleia bushes which attracted a wide variety of butterflies. We were welcomed with a gift of goats cheese from the creamery along the lane and some honey from Lucas's hives! Everything in the house...
