"We had such a lovely stay at L'Echappee Belle. The rooms are comfy, spacious and clean and the house and grounds are beautiful, with lots of fruit and veg growing throughout the grounds which our hostess Sophie uses for her excellent guest dinners and breakfasts. The swimming pool is wonderful and the house is located in a quiet area close to some lovely villages which are a 10-minute bike ride away. Would gladly come back here, thank you Sophie! "We had a wonderful stay here when we were visiting Guedelon Castle (it’s only half an hour away). A very welcoming host, and a beautiful building and location. Some lovely restaurants in the town just a short walk away. Would definitely stay again."

"Pleasant stay. Amazing service, couldn’t have been better. Would definitely come back again. Ideal trip for a weekend away from Paris: 20 min to both Chablis/Sancerre and 1.5hrs to the wi e region in Côte d’Or (south of Dijon). "
