"Beautiful setting and very warm welcome. Cosy atmosphere. Loved the table d’hôte approach. Food was great and nice selection of wine. Rooms are decorated very sympathetically to the rest of the building. We will definitely use the hotel again. "

"A stale kitchen smell hung around the reception and permeated the building. No lights were on and it was like entering a dark cave. I normally like quaint old hotels but this was just down at heel and dispiriting. The photographer must be very clever as the reality was dismal. The sauna was an extra 55 Euros so we didnt use it and didn't eat there as the stale smell was so unappetising. We would not have stayed except that we had booked and paid in advance."
