"This is a hidden, quiet gem. We loved our stay. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and we loved having a porch to sit outside and have a glass of wine. It was too cold to take advantage of the public sitting area by the river but... next time! "

"The Stavrand is an exceptional property; right away it is noticeable how the staff cares about their patrons. They go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location is an easy drive to any winery and walkable to downtown Guerneville for food and drink; be sure to hit up the local bank turned into an ice cream shop! "

"The house is lovely and perfecty located for us with our dog to enjoy walks on the beach! We especially loved the view (of course) and the garden area in the front. It was the perfect getaway location. We plan on making this a yearly stay. "
