I forgot my bag in the room with all my money and when I went back to retrieve it, the front desk gentleman was waiting for me and ready to call me. Can’t get that kind of service in the states! "What an amazing little hotel. Hotel Europe sits up above Argostoli just 10mins walk from the square. It is up quite a hill, but its definitely worth the walk when you see the view from your balcony! Maria on Reception is so lovely. She emailed instructions beforehand on how to get into our room as we were on a late flight in and arranged for us to stay in our room till late as we had a late flight leaving. Our room was huge, bed comfortable, kitchenette helpful for breakfast & coffee, bathroom a nice size and the balcony generous. Rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed after a couple of days. Theres a small garage underneath the hotel that can fit 6 cars if everyone parks sensibly. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely return."
