There can be issues with electricity/water with passing storms, etc., but this is not specific to Oasis. One has to remember that it's a different country, so roll with it and enjoy the scenery!"

"This hotel is an experience in itself. Nestled in a mangrove, the hotel is built on stilted walkways. There are turtles and crocodiles (sometimes), but apparently they do not bother people. You can relax at their restaurant or by the pool or choose to participate in activities such as sunrise kayaking to an island with monkeys, a horseback ride, a walk through their farmland, or a day trip to Livingston.
