"The shower had mould in it, the shower head was broken. The floor had quite a build up of dust around the skirting boards and furniture. The elevator security isn’t great, you don’t need to swipe your card to use it, anyone from the public can access the hotel and go to any floor they’d like which feels very unsafe."

"Liked: 1) Excellent location (5 min walk to Queen Victoria Market; Elizabeth St tram half a block away so it was very easy to get to Bourke St or Flinders station) 2) Room was clean and well serviced 3) Lots of stores and shops nearby, including an excellent Turkish bakery practically next door Needs improvement: Hotel could use a bit sprucing up … but I understand a major renovation is planned soon "

"Overall it was nice but the pillows and bed are just average. Very old hotel, the decor is quite dated and feels very cold, it is also very dark. We were there only one night. For the price maybe would have stayed somewhere better."
