"This is one of the best resorts I've been in Thailand. The hotel is beautiful and the service is top notch. "Packs of wild dogs roaming everywhere outside of the resort, some are aggressive, be prepared to defend yourself against the dogs you WILL need to. Pepper spray, Mace, at least a big stick!!! Better to stay inside resort."

I don't like the crowds and traffic of Hua Hin. Having a car, i have access to Hua Hin, but can enjoy the serenity of Cha Am which has several lovely quiet family owned beach side seafood restaurants nearby.

If you are looking for a reasonably quiet area right across the road from the beach, this is a good area, but if you like to go shopping and stay out and party, there's not too much there to do. It's best to have motorcycle or car
