"Die Unterkunft war mit der Beschreibung in der Anzeige nur schwer zu finden. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist wunderbar fußläufig zum Meer und sauber. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern und Frau Milan war sehr freundlich. Die Lampen am Bett zum abendlichen Lesen sind punktgenau super. "Property exterior was quite run down-also had dilapidated farm building attached. The interior does not match the exterior at all. We only found out a week before we travelled that there was a hire charge of 20 euro per room for bedding for stays of 7 days or less, had to pay 60 euro more on arrival for our 7 night stay . This is omitted from property details, I think this charge is outrageous. On positive note- the defective oven was replaced in 2 days and Pierre`s wine is excellent."

La rénovation récente de cette maison est une splendide réussite, par la qualité des matériaux, par la mise en valeur des pierres, par la grandeur de chaque chambre avec sdb et wc individuels, par l'agencement et l'équipement de la cuisine et l'espace confortable de la salle à manger et du salon. "The three bedrooms and large living area were just what we needed for a couple of nights. A well equipped kitchen was useful even though we only prepared simple snacks. The area is very peaceful although surrounded by other properties - you would think you were in a remote country cottage. Christophe (the host) was very welcoming and helpful. Check-in and check-out was very simple and straight forward. The listing information needs to be updated but it did not cause any problems with our visit....

"We liked everything about the property... it was clean and comfortable and contained everything we needed. Location was good too. Really appreciated the blackout blinds. Slight downside was that the neighbour began a major renovation project outside, with large and heavy machinery every day, but this is obviously out of the control of the host. We loved our stay and will return!"

"We enjoyed our visit to Narbonne and the area. The gite was clean and tidy, but there was mis-communication between the owner and ourselves regarding a few items. Although VRBO state that the owner speaks English, this was not really the case. VRBO also stated in the literature that towels and bedding were included. They were not, and we had to pay extra. "First off, the woman who opened up the villa was extremely rude and only showed my daughter in law around the villa, insisting everyone else should wait outside. Afer 15 minutes, I'd had enough and went in telling this lady we were coming in. Added to this, the smoke alarms throughout the villa did not work, and as there was no way of securing the separate apartments, we had to close the metal shutters at night. With no smoke alarms, this is unbelievably dangerous. The facilities were adequate...
