"Abbiamo deciso di soggiornare tre notti. Adesso dico prima di tutto che il posto è molto bello e silenzioso. Però devo consigliare un poco di cose da fare ancora. Primo: in tre giorni non abbiamo mai avuto né pulizia della camera né letto rifatto ne tantomeno bagno lavato. Secondo: ho trovato solo due grucce nell'armadio. Di conseguenza ho tenuto tre giorni i vestiti in valigia. Terzo: la TV era sopra un tavolino che in realtà sarebbe stato un piccolo scrittoio,e in conseguenza distesinel letto...

"Our family of four loved staying here. Maurizio and his staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The home cooked traditional meals were delicious, our rooms were immaculate, the views were amazing and we really enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The large, clean pool was fabulous after active days visiting the Etna region. We went out in the local town for dinner once and can really recommend it. Thank you!"

"Repos au sein d’un petit paradis fleuri et plein de charme. Accueil agréable même si un peu limité par notre méconnaissance de l’Italien. Chambre et confort parfait (même si douche étroite) , beaux objets, beaux tissus avec leur histoire..Nous avons pu déjeuner et dîner car il y avait des festivités, sinon je ne sais pas les possibilités. "We were traveling through Sicily and decided to stay at the Valle Galfina for only one night while exploring the Mt Etna area. It was tricky to locate the property due to limited signage but things began well with a welcome and glass of wine. However, we seemed to be the only people staying and the owner disappeared for the remainder of the day. Doors were locked and we had to figure out neither the restaurant or bar were open. At about 9pm the owner knocked on the room door to ask for...

"Lovely drive to San Pietro and a warm welcome by Salvatore. He explained to us all the local area, food and customs over a dinner prepared by his wife which was delicious and all local produce. The room was great, cable TV and wifi as well. All in all a great stay"

"We only booked this hotel for 1 night and wished we could have stayed longer. It is in a gorgeous vineyard and is a great place for families and couples- there is a beautiful pool but what stands out besides a great Room with luscious sheets and views looking at amy Etna is the hospitality of the staff. We had a delicious dinner which was outstanding."

"A real agriturismo, with 1000 olive trees and 2000 orange trees. It's a well kept place, well maintained garden, a big swimming pool. Host speaks very good English. Everyone is very nice and heplfull in every way you need. We stayed here for two nights and used it as a base to visit Etna, Siracuza and of course also Gryfindor pub, which is just 20 minutes ahead. "

"At first we were a bit worried as we couldn't find the hotel in the sat nav, but then after we put in the coordinates we found on google maps, we found the gorgeous, serene and peaceful Ai Vecchi Crateri Hotel! We had the beautifully designed room 9 which is on the 1st floor with the view of the hotel's outdoor and pretty communial area. This hotel was a very pleasant surprise for us, as nowhere around Mount Etna, had we seen such delicate and beautiful, art and design come together to blend...
