"Freshly refurbished, clean and tidy, decent shower with soap and shampoo provided, central location in the town. Not a huge room, but adequate for a few nights. No wardrobe, but there were a few pegs to hang stuff on, and a few small open shelves. Some noise from folks leaving the pub quite late, also traffic noise from the A5. I was worried about how to access the property, but instructions arrived by SMS mid afternoon and worked fine. "

"A last min booking for new years eve! I booked a family room for myself , Hubby and 7 year old son. The day arrived and the weather forecast was awful and nearly stopped our visit however after prompt, helpful communication from Regan we decided to try and brave the travel. "Very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable host. Great location, fantastic locally sourced breakfast, with standout attention to detail, like little choclates in the room, and if you run out of tea and coffee there is extra in a box on the landing. There are lot of choices in and around Betwys but we felt this was definitely one of the best. "

"We stayed at Bron Y Graig for just one night during a sports weekend. It’s a beautiful and comfortable guest house with stunning views. We enjoyed chilling out in the bar room playing games and chatting. I adore William Morris print so the decor at Bron Y Graig brought me so much joy! Sadly, we had to leave before breakfast which was such a shame because the smells coming out from the kitchen were delicious!"

"The room was very spacious and comfortable. The property is old (steeped in history) but the room had all the features we needed. The instructions were excellent and the owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. The bed was a little creaky and the pillows were a little thin/soft for my preferences, but perfectly comfortable and adequate. Great value for money. Great location. Highly recommend the breakfast!! A great stay - would stay again. "

"Absolutely lovely place! Stayed here last minute due to change in plans. Hosts were so attentive! In my 30s, this isn’t a place I’d normally stay if I’m honest, but wouldn’t hesitate to come back! It’s spotless! Really comfy big bed and nicely firm pillows. Modern and clean bathroom. "Was greeted warmly by the hostess on arrival, she even offered to carry my bag up to my room! (I declined the kind offer!) The room was compact and en'suite with a sparkling bathroom, the shower was great with plenty of water pressure. The bed was a little uncomfortable but I was able to adjust it to my liking, when I mentioned this the hosts were very concerned and said they would give the bed a check out after I left. Breakfasts (I was there 2 nights) were lovely, fresh and well cooked....

"Lovely bnb on the edge of s horse farm. Our host was very welcoming and we really felt we had a stay in the countryside. Polly, the host gives great dinner recommendations. If traveling by car Make sure you call ahead to know to drive past the barn- we confused ours and a quick call to Polly sorted that out. Would come back!"

Couples weekend away

"We absolutely loved our stay. Check in was easy and we were lucky enough to have one of the car spaces outside. The staff were extremely helpful and really nice. We explored Conwy for the afternoon before returning for an evening meal. The food was amazing and service was excellent. We had breakfast the next morning which was 10/10 we really enjoyed it. The hotel allowed us to leave our car whilst we went to get our children a present. We will definitely return, the hotel itself was amazing and our room was fantastic. "

Warm room on arrival made my day!

"I arrived later than I had planned and was very cold as I was on my motorbike on my way to the Dragon Rally. When I arrived in my room, the heating was on and the room was lovely and warm. It really made a difference and was much appreciated. Usually when I arrive at a hotel, the heating is off. Lovely staff, great location and excellent value for money. "
