"I thought these were two adjoining apartments for all 9 of us to stay. I was expecting a kitchen we could share and a balcony. Not easily accessible from City Center; we took the 534 bus and then had to get a taxi the rest of the way, 90euros for 2 taxis. Our airport transfer was 120euros for 2 taxis. "The reviews are correct..there are 3 flights of stairs to get to the hotel. Once you are up there, it is quite nice. The staff are friendly and helpful. My room had a huge balcony but the thinnest bathroom. Hard to sit down if you know what I mean. Breakfast was fine. Easy walk from the train station. The neneighborhood does not look great but only a few blocks to the town center....beautiful. Catania is a lovely city and Bmode is a good place to stay to explore."
