AND, it was in a great location to walk around the harbor and quaint village strip of Digby. They were also super flexible when we had to change our plans due to a cancelled ferry and switched our stay from the end of the trip to the beginning, so I give them extra stars for staff and service. "The cottage was an excellent place for our base in the Digby area. Very clean and with a great lay out for 2 couples. The view is amazing and we found it hard to tear ourselves away to visit Digby and Annapolis Royal. Our host greeted us and showed us around the cottage and was able to give us lots of information about the location and surrounding area. The land the lodge and cottages are on was lovely to walk around and there was even a beach area to explore. "

"Did enjoy our stay. Happy for the indoor plumbing. However, being so close to the highway, you can actually hear/notice the traffic at night. We liked the our little backyard firepit picnic spot... The outdoor kitchen was different but worked out just fine. If No eating in the Geodome is part of the rules, cooking/dining in the rain should have something considered for the outdoor kitchen. Overall it was a nice little getaway :)"
