"This hotel is really close to the metro station at place d'italie about a 5 minute walk which has great links into many area of Paris as is on metro lines 5, 6 and 7. The area has lots of lovely restaurants which the receptionist suggested to us all within walking distance. The hotel was spotless and quiet and everyone was incredibly friendly. "The entire staff at this quiet hotel is EXCELLENT. They were helpful on everything from ordering a taxi to setting out place settings on the tables in the evening if we brought in a take-out order. "Place d'Italie isn't the most interesting area in Paris, but it's well placed for transport links. It's also near the Bercy village, Too hotel and Bibliotec. The hotel itself was very clean and had reasonable facilities - kettle and tea. "This hotel was a real find! Beautiful decor, super friendly staff and a delicious continental breakfast with handmade items. The bedroom was very small but most hotels in Paris run on the small side. The room was very cosy and quiet and the bed was big and very comfy. The shower and bathroom were tiny too but warm and cosy. The note from the owners was a lovely touch. Be warned the lift is also tiny (sensing a Parisien theme!) and the stairs are plentiful.
