Our stay was fantastic! We got to relax and enjoy the great outdoors and the cabin was really comfortable and accommodating. It has everything you need. It’s also a great centralized location for things around the area that we wanted to do. I hope to go there again as soon as possible. Thank you to our hosts!
We came down for the honor float and did not want to drive back home after. We had friends in the area who also were on the committee and could use a getaway and this was perfect! I would love to have stayed longer and woke up every morning to that 3 season porch. It will definitely not be our last time staying!
Clean, quiet, well stocked place in a rural setting. Owners were nice, just interacted for a minute. Saw deer, turtles, and wild turkey during our stay.
This place is beautiful inside & out. We had such a relaxing time surrounded by green 💚. Owners are very accomodating & responsive. The screened in porch was a favorite.
Very quiet and peaceful retreat. Owners were great, and very quick to responsed when question's were asked. We encountered some bad weather during our stay, and they were on it! Making sure the roads were clear and we were safe. Would definitely recommend the stay if your looking for peace and quiet. Highly recommend insect repellant.
Thanks guys!
It was a very peaceful place to be. No internet so we all were forced to play cards etc. I went with my two sons just as a break from home. I would definitely stay again. Nice littlw reset for all of us!!
The house was amazing and the area was also it was very clean even for being near the woods the river was the best part went for a swim even fished and caught one would come again for a longer time because it did not feel like we had enough time to do more
We loved our stay here! Quiet, private, and lots of lawn for the littles to get their energy out. The perfect place for some relaxation. If you're sensitive to fragrances, maybe reach out ahead of time - there were a couple plug in scents going when we arrived. Kind and responsive host. We would definitely return again!
You are getting exactly what you see on the app when it comes to this place. Was very clean and organized when we got there. There were houses that were a few hundred yards away but at the same time it felt secluded. Fishing was surprisingly good even with the water being low. Owners were clear and responded quickly to texts as well. 10/10 would do it again
I was looking for a cabin to stay at that still had running water and electricity. This cabin was just what I was looking for. Very well maintained with multiple bedrooms, a kitchen, washer and dryer, a grill, and a nice little TV in the living room. The air conditioning was wonderful after a walk on the trail, although it did rain that weekend so I didn't get to explore as much of the property as I had hoped to. I still have a little cell coverage with US cellular but my partner had Verizon and had to walk to the pond to check messages. I would be happy to return and stay at this lovely cabin again.
One can tell the cabin has recently been rehabbed. Such love and care was put into making this a clean and very attractive place. It was very thoughtfully designed. We noticed great use of small spaces. Everything is there that one needs.
The cabin is secluded in tbe woods on at least 3 to 4 acres and is next to a river. It is pretty snd relaxing.
My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary here and was able to unplug from everything for a few days. This is honestly one of the nicest pkaces we've stayed at. It was awesome to sit out on the screened in porch and just relax. We would definitely want to rent again if we are ever back in this area.
Also, the owners were VERY responsive to a few questions we had. They are very kind to work with.
We definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice secluded getaway in the country to get away from everything and take a break.
The road to the cabin is extremely dangerous for motorcycles. Deep sand and washboard gravel on a hilly, poorly maintained narrow road that is barely wide enough for one car. My buddy turned back when we ran into sand. I made it the cabin, but I couldn't get the lock to work. There is no cell phone service so I was unable to call the owners to figure out why the lock wouldn't work. I gave up and ended up getting a hotel in another town. I was able to contact the owners after I got into town and the they were NOT helpful.
I never set foot in the cabin.
We enjoyed our stay here so much. Remote beautiful setting in woods. Owners very responsive. Cell service very spotty but great getaway. We'd love to come back and stay again!
I loved it out there!! my kids loved it out there definitely wanting to to get again the only thing that sucked for the teenagers was there's no cell phone service but service but still was great because then everybody had to conversate with everybody and not be attached to their phones
