"I had a quick overnighter at the Great Western. Seems to be a good and conveniently located hotel. I was able to park (fee free!). Just a 10 minute walk to Aberdeen High Street. The room was clean, had a comfortable bed and good heating. I was in and out with no issues."

"Lovely hotel, very clean, staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was a really good size with the surprise of a kitchenette in there too which was very handy for us. Lovely little welcome pack which was replenished each day. Bed was comfortable and although the hotel is on a main road it was quiet and we slept so well. Breakfast was nice (continental) but we would have liked a cooked breakfast, on saying that though there was plenty to eat. Also we did not find out the bar was not open...

"I stayed with 3 small dogs, and found this one of the very rare places where the dogs were WELCOME rather than just tolerated. Room was a generous size. Fridge in room. Full length mirror and real wardrobe. Wifi was good. Only 5 minute walk to the riverside, and a small shop and sandwich shop just a few hundred yards away. Service was excellent. Breakfast was good and generous. I genuinely enjoyed my stay here."
