"Quiet house with beautiful surroundings. The canoe and playground were great for my young children, age 7 & 6. We loved fishing from the canoe and exploring the lake. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because we couldn’t get the dishwasher or the hair dryer to work. Great Lake house otherwise! "

"The property is very cute and the location is excellent. However, the cabin smells like cigarette smoke. It was not advertised s as being a smoker friendly place and with an infant it causes me great concern. We only stayed 2 nights and we will have to re-wash all of our clothes because the smoke smell."

I asked my family to each send a few words that described the property and here's what I got: cozy, familial, loved, well-worn, grounding, homey, cute, welcoming, warm and comfy. While it may have been an older house, you can tell it has been well-taken care of over the years. This property is the EXACT kind of place I imagine and hope for when staying at a vacation rental (which can be hard to find these days).It was by far the absolute CLEANEST...

We really appreciated the well-furnished kitchen that allowed us to make our own meals while we were away. Had everything we needed! Host was kind and very quick to communicate. We didn't use the hot tub because the water was a little murky, but everything else was great.
