This tastefully decorated 4 BR 3 BA property is located in a private subdivision. This home is perfect for the whole family and sits on over an acre with shade from the pine trees and breathtaking mountain views. Enter into the mudroom, then into the well equipped kitchen you will find solid maple cabinets, tile backsplash, quartz countertops and an Island to seat 4. Floors are porcelain tile and Mahogany hardwood. Open concept living room/dining area has a cool aviation vibe and fireplace to warm you up. From the picture window and back deck is your serene view of mountains and nature conservation land. Down the hall you have 3 BR and 2 full BA including primary BR w/ en suite. Finished basement features a large BR w/ bunks, full BA & a spacious family room with large TV for movies & 2 standup arcade games, perfect for the kiddos. Backyard has plenty of seating on deck and around fire pit. Quiet private neighborhood, awesome for bike riding & walks. Plenty of off street parking. We respect our neighbors and neighborhood and would appreciate it if all renters do the same. If you are looking to party, this is not the property for you.

Yes there's a Dunkin' 5 min away! Hobbs Tavern has great apps/drinks. The Eldridge Family Sugar House not only has the best maple syrup, their soft serve maple ice cream is hometown famous and they also serve brunch. Also venture out to Deb's Landing up the street not only for brunch or dinner but fun, live entertainment Thurs-Sat. White Lake Speedway offers laser tag, bowling, go karts and gaming. White Lake Pizza is the closest place for Pizza/subs/salads. Rosie's has the best homemade cinnamon rolls. Yankee Smokehouse has yummy smoked barbecue. Harley Jacks is a cool hangout with food, entertainment and karaoke. Indian Mound golf course's season closes mid November but the Tavern (River's Edge Grille) is open for brunch/dinner every day w/entertainment on Fridays, resuming golf in April. Connect with nature at Outdoor Escapes of NH. Remick Museum & Farm is a family favorite and interesting to visit. We enjoyed our brief stay. The property was clean, warm and comfortable. Our checkin process was slightly flawed, but was more likely an innocent mistake rather than a systemic problem. The owner contacted me directly to address the problem quickly. We enjoyed our stay, and would stay again.

We stayed here as family to attend a wedding at white face hollow in Tamworth, it's a 20 min drive to venue, the home was perfect for 6 adults to get ready for wedding with having the 3 bathrooms , the home is very cute and well stocked the beautiful backyard was great to relax and have coffee or you can make a fire in fire pit, very clean and great location.we all recommend this property to stay.have our morning coffee . Annual NH Trip

My boys (6&4) and I stayed at this property for a week. The rental was PERFECT for us. The home was spotless and a great layout with plenty of beds for guests. We most enjoyed the backyard and driveway where the kids had plenty of room to play and ride bikes. The firepit and expansive deck and table was a big hit for visiting relatives who were camping nearby and came over for dinner one night. The location is great - close to everything we needed! Highly recommend!

Family leaf peeping trip

We stayed at the Windsock Retreat for 3 days of our family leaf peeping trip. The house was beautifully decorated and the hosts were thoughtful in the included amenities, from Dunkin coffee, body wash in each shower, air freshener in each bathroom, lotion and a well stocked kitchen. The house was comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We especially enjoyed an evening fire in the fire pit and making s'mores. There are several nearby restaurants. Hobbs Tavern, White Lake Pizza, and Bobby Sue's (for ice cream) are worth visiting. Highly recommend!

Kirkland Cottage getaway

The house was very comfortable & spotless. Great kitchen with the usual appliances (no toaster oven though - which we prefer to a toaster)Comfy sofas, good mattresses & pillows, lots of towels & lots of hangers in the closets. Nice tv with WiFi. Close to everything. A terrific welcome looseleaf with recommendations for dining, hiking boat rentals shopping etc. Would return.Front door lock needs fixing

Family get away

House was very well equipped. Outdoor area is beautiful with fire pit and Adirondack chairs. Unfortunately when it stopped raining it was too windy to sit out and have a fire. I would recommend this location.

Fantastic house

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. The house was clean and just like the pictures listed. Close enough to everything but in a quiet neighborhood. My kids enjoyed watched the planes take off! There were a few issues with things not working properly but the owners were easy to contact. We will definitely stay here again.

Loved our experience in this house!

We've stayed at a lot of properties in and around Ossipee, and this was one of our favorites. Ample parking and sleeping space for lots of people. We filled the house, used the fully equipped kitchen, enjoyed the space outside and the fire pit, and were able to really enjoy the space and relax together. The hosts were especially responsive and made sure everything was perfect for us. I highly recommend.

Great Rental Property

This was a great property it had all the comforts of home super clean, beds and linens so comfortable everything was fantastic. From the outside the house appears to be small but once get inside the rooms go on and on !! The area was very quiet and we appreciated that ! It was a little tuff with the directions as you are in the mountains and service sometimes can be spotty. We got the name of the community the house was in and it brought us right to the property no problem. We had a great stay and highly recommend !!

Beautiful hideaway home in NH

This lovely, clean home for our crew perfectly! Long-time White Lake campers, we decided to get a house this year instead. We loved the comfortable beds and flexibility of space. The kitchen was stocked with everything you’d need to cook. The backyard had a great fire pit with lots of seating. There’s a long driveway that our kids loved using to ride bikes. There is AC in all the upstairs rooms, but not the basement room. It made an excellent home base for all NH activities! We would definitely come back!

Quiet spot, great views.

Don't let the exterior fool you! This home is far more spacious than it would seem. It is extremely well kept, and everything was in working order. The basement was great for a later in the evening hangout area. The video game systems were a really nice touch! The immediate area around the house was very picturesque and we hung out by the fire each night we were there. We did think it would be a tad closer to Ossipee Lake, however, as it turns out we found that White Lake was actually a better spot for out of staters like us to go visit and swim/kayak. We have no trouble highly recommending this place as a rental. The owners were extremely easy to contact through VRBO. They were very responsive and helpful.

Lovely & fun getaway!

There were six of us retired gals who do a getaway every year & #54 was the best location yet! Each of us had a bed, 3 bathrooms & a great open kitchen area to the dining table & sofas. None of the TVs got turned on! Great WiFi! Extra playroom downstairs we didn’t use, nice outdoor chairs for morning coffee! Easy car rides to North Conway, Castle in the Clouds, Moultanborough & Meredith. On the way to Meridith some of us got to see a small bear dash across Rt 25 in front of us! We hope to plan a return for foliage season. It will be gorgeous for sure!
