"This was an excellent property for a party of 12 adults ranging from 25-86 and two dogs. Exceptionally well appointed, the outside eating and cooking areas especially. Great fun making pizzas and memories!"

"The staff was helpful but seemed mechanical and condescending. Breakfast is wonderful with many options. The bed was clean but had fist-sized lumps. I was informed by the director that the lumps were special for comfort and that all beds have this special mattresses. I was told to turn off the air conditioning when not in the room. This is unexpected in a highly-rated four star hotel. The staff seems to believe that guests are fortunate to stay."

"This property had absolutely everything we needed for a lovely family week. It was very comfortable and well equipped - we were there with teens and it was great, but families with younger children would have been especially delighted by all the toys. A great selection of garden games for adults too. We very much enjoyed having a hot tub as well as a pool. The location was perfect for exploring the Loire chateaux - there were so many within easy driving distance. The hosts live next door and...
