"Our stay at Casamaggiore was perfect. The property was traditionally and simply styled, well supplied and met all our needs. The facilities were as advertised and we delighted in using the pool and tennis courts. The property is perfectly situated for day trips to explore the region. "Santa Maria is a stunning property in a beautiful & quiet location ideally situated for Orvieto. The apartment was comfortable & well equipped. The owners were most helpful & pleasant. We loved their collection of animals: 2 friendly dogs & an assortment of cats & peacocks. We also enjoyed being able to pick vegetables from the owner’s garden. The swimming pool was wonderful. "This large apartment was incredibly beautiful in so many ways. The owners have done an incredible renovation to modernize the experience without sacrificing the charm you hope to experience in this ancient town. it was clean and the linens were top notch. I think I'll install a towel warmer at home after experiencing this luxury. My only advice to future renters is to make sure you arrive at a time where the owner can meet you in person. "Even though this house was out of the way it was comfortable, spacious and provided us with a serene space after each day of sight seeing and travel in both Umbria and Tuscany. It was just what we were looking for to accomodate our family group and we enjoyed many good times. The siting of the apartment was a plus as we were able to witness beautiful sunrises and sunsets from our eyrie."
