"The language barrier was definitely an issue. We were greeted in the street by the off-site host who was upset that we were planning to check out early even though we said we were paying for the extra night and despite the fact that we had emailed June 22nd that we had to shorten our stay. This is not a typical B & B. It consists of 4 rooms and a shared kitchenette on the same floor as 2 private apartments in a multi-story building above the pedestrian area. No blow dryer or iron is provided....

"We had an incredible surprise when we arrived at 9pm after a long day driving from Rome. Rosalia is a wonderful hostess! She welcomed us so well even though we booked with a little less than 2 hours notice. The room is spotless clean and recently renovated. Bathroom has basic toiletries and even a hair dryer. "I can't explain the feeling we had staying in such a historic and well preserved castle. It was exquisite! It was like staying in a museum but much more comfortable. I really wish I could have taken the tour given by the owner. Next time, I will. There isn't a bar or restaurant at this time. I am not sure why they are shown as amenities. There was only one place in town that we found open on Sunday with limited hours for coffee and pizza. We had trouble finding dinner. The town is beautiful...

"This is the converted top floor of an apartment block, so it isn’t obvious from the street. However, once you buzz in and find your way to the 5th floor, the view is stunning and the facilities are excellent. The owner gave us advice on what to see and where to eat; we then walked down to the Main Street and explored the shops and the open air art exhibits, before making our way to the old town and La Cantina Cosentina where we sampled traditional local food and wine for a very reasonable price....

"The town is beautiful and hospitable. I stayed there for week in June and there was no hassle parking on any street, always available spots in the center, nice places to eat and shopping for little things and food. There are many great beaches around and many villages to visit. Apartment is located at the village main square and is nicely appointed, clean and has all amenities. I loved it all during every hour I was there, except between 11 pm -3 am every day of the week as it is not for average...

"My wife and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon, and it was such a special part of our trip! Antonio was incredibly generous and kind, not only did he pick us up from the train station upon arrival, but he also drove us to the airport to get a rental car when our original plan fell through.
