A calming private apartment in the heart the historic business district, located on Washington Ave just steps to a variety of local restaurants, small shops, wineries, breweries, parks...yet set back for those quiet moments when you need a timeout. The 2 br apartment is situated above a private garage accessed by stairs, loaded with everything you need for a 5 star stay whether it's for 1 night, a week, or more. A living room to hang out in and a full kitchen to either heat up your leftovers from a restaurant, or make a quick meal before heading out to explore more is a better value compared to a 1 room bnb. Choice linens and varied pillows for a great night sleep. We DO NOT charge a cleaning fee and we just ask for you to do a couple of things before you check(no cleaning)out. Just got the place for one night, for a friends birthday celebration. Great location and walking distance to all the Cedarburg downtown fun! Property was clean, cozy, and super comfortable. Definitely going to stay here again.

Fantastic rental
First of all, hosts communicated in advance with very helpful tips. We were there over Christmas and knew nothing about the area. We were able to reserve a birthday cake for our Christmas birthday daughter at the place right next door and they even offered to pick it up if we didn’t get there on time. The apartment was immaculate and beautifully decorated with extra Christmas touches. It’s literally right in the historic shopping area and everything is in easy walking distance. Food recommendations are listed in the apartment. We had a wonderful time and can highly recommend this place. The place has everything you can think of and more. Games, tv, books. If we ever find ourselves here again we would absolutely choose this place.

The Wandernhaus was a great place to stay in Cedarburg. It was centrally located and we could walk everywhere. Our host communicated well and was very helpful with suggestions.

A Perfect Spot!
We have stayed several times at this wonderful property and have thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Wandernhaus. The owner, Kathy, is accommodating, personable and does all she can to ensure comfort and enjoyment for her guests. We absolutely recommend this spot for anyone traveling to the Cedarburg area. Overnight getaway
The property is located in the heart of Cedarburg. Easy walk to shops and restaurants! It was cold and rainy when we arrived, but we greatly enjoyed doing a tiny puzzle that was in a basketful of games in the living room while we sipped hot tea.

We were attending a concert in Milwaukee and decided to stay Thursday and Friday in Cedarburg. This was the perfect location, close to everything in town. Walking distance to a lot of fun things! This place has everything you want and need, great amenities. We would definitely plan to stay here again in the future!

Great, safe place to stay
We came to Wisconsin visit family. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The apartment is upstairs. It was very clean and sufficient for our party of 6. There were a few board games available, which our boys enjoyed. There were also some books available for adults and children. We went to Holy Hill, Lake Michigan, Bookworm Gardens, Green Bay stadium, Madison (Fromagination and Olbrich Gardens are a must see), and explored Cedarburg during our stay. I tried a couple of local coffee shops and we went to several shops on the day we walked around exploring Cedarburg. Kathy was easily contacted if we had any needs and ready to give suggestions if we needed something to do. Overall, I felt like this was a safe area with plenty to do for our family. We would stay here again.
