Pictures posted on vrbo give an accurate representation of the house. I used Google street view to scope out the area, so in respect to both house and location I knew what to expect. There were a couple quirky things that could be fixed; the basement door nob comes off when turned, the bottom screw of the banister going upstairs is not anchored. there is a lamp in the livingroom that has a loose socket that could be dangerous.) The house has central AC on the main floor and window AC in one of the bedrooms upstairs. The other upstairs bedroom is without AC, so we had to get creative on how to cool that room down. Luckily there were extra fans that helped with this. We initially wondered how the mattresses would be, but we all slept like rocks. My grandson loved the stuffed toys that are there (although I'll admit I wondered how clean they were. They looked clean, but you never know, right?). Nice bathroom that was well stocked. Mark gave us good directions on how to get to the parking area, given all the road construction. This was my first time using a service like vrbo, so I was surprised at the service fees that get added to the overall price. I assume that's normal. Overall a nice house/experience and we're likely to stay there again.
