Nestled against the backdrop of Florida's nature coast, the Island Place is a romantic getaway showcasing the natural beauty and serenity of a secluded tropical isle. Our beautiful condos are located in Cedar Key directly on the Gulf of Mexico amid a true nature preserve, swaying palms and warm Gulf breezes. Renew the spirit and stir the soul in a paradise of tropical splendor. Walk out your unit and you will find a pool located directly on the Gulf! Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or a fun and exciting vacation destination, we will fill and exceed your expectations for comfort and location. The complex is designed to lend itself to the historical flavor of Cedar Key. We are next to the city marina, and just a few steps away from fine restaurants, shopping and grocery store. This is a pet friendly unit! Pet fee is as follows: Pet fee is $50 per pet per visit, 1 pet maximum.. If you did not pay a pet fee on booking, please contact us immediately. Evidence of pets in unit without paying the pet fee as required will result in a penalty of $300 charge to your card on file. Please check with us on any other pets. We do require that pets do not get on bed or furniture. Please do not leave barking dogs in the unit. Please pick up after your pet when outdoors. PLEASE NOTE: There is no boat parking available onsite. There is public boat parking available one block east or two blocks to the north across from the market. PLEASE NOTE: Our Pool is closed for chemical treatment on Monday and Thursday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Grills are park style and at end of complex. Bring utensils, charcoal, grill brush and lighter fluid.

Cute little condo with a great location
Cute little condo with a great waterfront view in Cedar Key. Right in the middle of everything you’d want to do downtown. The balcony has a great view of town, the ocean, and Atsena Otie Key. The condo itself is nice, but it is quite small. Listing says it will sleep 6, but we had 4 (2 adults, a teenager, and a preteen), and we were tripping over each other. The bedroom is barely big enough to hold the king-sized bed that is in it and still have walking room around it. Washer and dryer are in the bathroom, which makes it quite a tight squeeze to get in. The top bunk bed is too close to the ceiling to be functional for anyone over the age of 7-8, and even then, I doubt they’d be able to sit upright without bumping their head. Our 11-year old opted for the sleeper sofa. The kitchen is also super tiny. Dishwasher and stove are half the size of a normal kitchen, and there is no counter space for a microwave, so it’s on top of the fridge. Only 1 person can fit in the kitchen at a time. That said, if you’re not looking to cook a full meal and you don’t mind the “tiny house” feel, it has everything you need and it really is in a great location.

Perfect getaway
From first day of reserving property managers were great. Gave suggestions around the area. When we got there we couldn't believe how great the location was. It was a last minute getaway, turned out perfect, condos were great. Location, and property owners. Fantastic!!

Wonderful visit to Cedar Key
Second year coming to Cedar Key for spring break. The condos at Island Place are wonderful. We loved the location and the view of the Gulf from our balcony and the pool. The pool heater was a wonderful feature that we didn't know about until we arrived. We will certainly be back!

Nice, but construction within a few feet.
We enjoyed our stay. The condo was very nice. Easy walking to all local restaurants and shops. However, we stayed on a weekend and there was no construction happening…..not sure how noisy it would be during the week. The bridge is within a few feet from the condo.
