" We recently stayed at the budget inn hotel and had a pleasant experience. The place was fairly clean, which made our stay comfortable. "Cozy place near New River Gorge National Park. Everything you need is provided and very good communication with owner. Very close to lots of activities and restaurants. It is on the highway, so you will hear traffic, but the box fan provided in the bedroom created white noise to drown it out. Overall, excellent value for the area."

"1st Off Makenzie was great to work with, always quick to respond to questions. Cabin was clean and it is on route 60. A little hard to spot while going down the road. Try to get there before it’s dark and unpack hard to see from car to cabin door. Definitely would stay again, good location. "
