"This is a lovely house with wonderful views, the garden is pleasant, full of birds which enjoyed the stale bread that we put out. The neighboring cat also enjoys the visitors food. The owner speaks good English and is helpful.The negatives were the arbitrary parking, the access road is very narrow and we had a problem with the septic tank being full causing a bad smell in the cottage. The owner did manage to get the tank emptied, so I guess we were just a bit unlucky."

"Great property; helpful and friendly owners; superb base for exploring the local area. The nearest town, Infiesto, is a 5-minute drive away with local well-stocked supermarket. We cooked most evenings using the wood barbecue in the private garden. There are good walks from the house and Oviedo, Gijon, Covadonga, etc. are within a 45 minute drive. We were a family group of 4 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room for everyone. All-in-all, a fantastic place to spend a holiday!"

"Una casa bien equipada, perfecta para pasar unos días. Está un poco retirada de Infiesto pero para nosotros ideal porque estuvimos todos los días haciendo turismo. Nos sorprendió la limpieza y la casa en sí, muy acogedora. Hecha con gusto. Para repetir."

"The property smelled badly of smoke, which is not something we can deal with well at all. No WiFi either. All not helped by very poor weather which made the whole experience disappointing"

"Ha sido muy buena estancia, lugar tal cual anunciado, perfecto para nosotros. Anfitrión un 10, muy fácil comunicarse con el y nos asesoró en todo momento. Estabamos a 5 minutos del río para bañarnos. Han sido 2 días muy buenos y totalmente . Un 10!!recomendable "

"We enjoyed the small town very much (and the lovely neighbors) and the town of Nava as well with it's cidra. The atmosphere is wonderful and easy access to many interesting places. The weather was cool and damp and found that the radiators were not able to be turned on I was told heating is extra. No WiFi either which is fine if I had known first."

Seuls bémols : la petite cuisine pour ceux qui aiment cuisiner à plusieurs en vacances et la route assez fréquentée en journée (mais la terrasse donne côté rivière !) "A traditional country cottage in a peaceful rural setting, just a short distance from Ribadesella and the coast. It is quite simply furnished but with everything you need for comfort - comfy beds, good heating, limitless hot water, washing machine etc. The house was spotlessly clean, and Marian is an excellent host, a lovely person and responsive to any query. "Mayte y su marido son encantadores y como viven al lado están atentos a cualquier necesidad del visitante. En la casa hay disponible todo lo que se pueda necesitar y en la cocina no faltaba de nada, incluyendo detalles como café, leche, aceite o azucar. "
