For larger groups of up to 17 persons, book Elim Grove Cottage together with Gravenstein Cottage, Paradise Grove Cottage, Creekside Cottage and Baker's Loft - all located on the grounds near the bakery.

'We stayed a few nights with Mark and Elizabeth, and all I can say is they are the best hosts ever. . .Our daughter loved the little playground next to the bakery, it was also a plus that Mark offered a stroller which we forgot at home. Every morning a hot breakfast was provided and it was delicious!'

Cottage Get Away
The Elim Cottage was a wonderful get away in the Redwoods, and Mark was a fantastic host. I came during the bakery's off-season, so it wasn't open, but Mark still went out of his way to provide me with amazing baked goods each morning, and freshly roasted coffee. The cottage was very comfortable, nice bed, good water pressure, but it is definitely tiny, which is what I was looking for. I'm looking forward to checking out the bakery in on -season now that I know about it, and bringing my family up for a staycation. Looking forward to staying here again!

Great escape to the redwoods
What a special place to land for a quick getaway from Oakland. Sweet little cottage tucked into the redwoods. Make sure you come for Friday night pizza. The host clearly has a gift for community building. Pizza and music under the redwoods seems to be the thing to do on a Friday night and was a magical touch to the weekend. We loved getting to dip in for music and eats and then retreat to our little cabin nearby. Very sweet and magical garden full of repurposed treasures. Easy access to the coast and Russian river, we hope to return and check out the other cottages. Host was very welcoming and accommodating. He offered many suggestions for local food and fun.

Small but intimate close to nature
I thought the property was very well decorated very true to that area small but yet had everything I needed. I found that the fresh bakery items in the morning was an added bonus. It’s rarely that you actually get breakfast at B&B these days loved it.

Perfect for us
We were attending a music camp nearby and this was the perfect setup for us. Everything was super comfortable and clean. The breakfast was amazing - freshly baked bread, pastries and fresh roasted coffee to grind and brew in your own room. There are not really cooking facilities in the room aside from a microwave and toaster; this wasn't a problem for us at all but might be for you if you are planning to cook your meals. Mark (the owner) is great! You should definitely make sure to spend some time talking with him. We are looking forward to going back next year!

Weekend Escape
We came up to the property on Friday night and enjoyed the pre-ordered pizza and the live music. The property/cottage was cozy and clean, but could use a little improvement inside and outside. Overall, we had a very nice trip and stay.

Such a fun property!
We arrived on a Friday afternoon and Mark greeted is right away and showed us around the property. Mark is a fun and gracious host who takes pride in making his guests feel comfortable. We took the goats for a walk with him and explored Austin Creek which is adjacent to the property. Beautiful redwoods and green moss and ferns are abundant around the grounds and some fun enchanted objet d'art sprinkled around the property add a special charm. Our cottage was cozy and comfy. A huge library of books from every genre, and some vinyl to play on the record player was a fun extra! We watched dvd's in the front room and Netflix in the bedroom. Wifi worked best in the bedroom. Each morning Mark brought us an amazing plate with freshly baked sourdough, pastries, and a cup of beans to grind in the grinder provided on the coffee cart in our room. This was our favorite perk of our stay! We did order a pizza on Friday night that was yummy as well! We will be back soon!

It felt like a movie scene
It felt like this place was straight out a movie set. Charming, unique, baked goods delivered every morning, Friday night pizza night and live band. I am so glad we chose to stay here! Mark & his family were, hands down, the most welcoming and kind hosts. My husband and daughter enjoyed looking and listening to records and reading the huge assortment of books. It was the perfect retreat/vacation as we brought my daughter to college. Can’t wait to stay again.

The cottage was very cute and was a great launching spot for our activities in the Russian River Valley. The morning delivery of pastries is an extra perk! Try going on a Friday so you can participate in the pizza and band night outside the bakery.

Delightful cottage in the Redwoods. A plate of warm freshly baked pastries, a loaf of the most delicious sourdough bread and freshly on-site fair trade roasted coffee beans delivered to the door every morning. Lovely grounds. We couldn't have been more comfortable.

The Bakery
The place was cute very comfortable. There is a lot of clutter of books that can be removed so your guest will be able to use the shelving to organize their personal items during their stay. Mark was an excellent host. His detail to the bake goods was phenomenal. He spoiled us by sending us home with a box of goodies for the road. I would definitely recommend Mark as a host and stay there again. Looking forward in reviewing his Inn for a possible rental in the future. Thank you Mark!

Our Bakery Stay
We had one of the BEST short vacation stay at "Elim Grove" Bakery & Cottages. The thing that REALLY STAND OUT is how thoughtful and THOROUGH Mark, the Proprietor, was!!!))) He really takes the time to get to know you and delivers ALWAYS!))) he's quite personable and not pretentious at all! Every morning, there was a plate of fresh baked treats and a generous helping of fresh roasted coffee waiting outside of Our front door! ( He also roasts his own coffee beans!!!)) I recommend this 'Hideaway' to anyone who prefers "Off the Beaten Path" Getaways!... (WELL worth the extra few minutes to get there!!!))👌👍👍👍❤

Live music and fresh pastries
My wife and I had a lovely stay at Elim Grove Cottage. Being dog friendly, we loved getting to bring our pup along. We arrived on a Wed and found that camp was in session across the street at the performing arts camp. That ment we were given the gift of live orchestra music playing through our windows throughout the day. Though the bakery is currently closed to the public, each morning we woke up to a plate full of fresh pastries and freshly roasted coffee that Mark had just made. Cazadero is definitely off the beaten path and reception is spotty at best. But via wifi at the cottage, we were able to find some things to venture out and eat/drink/do in the neighboring towns of Guerneville, Duncan Mills & Jenner. We really enjoyed our time at Elim Grove and can't recommend it enough!
