"The house was nice, and the location was great. The only real issue I had was that the website says A/C and so I assumed the whole house was air conditioned. Only the bedrooms had A/C which was fine for sleeping, but during the evenings when we wanted to cook and sit to have dinner or spend family time together, we were incredibly hot and uncomfortable so everyone went to their rooms and we didn't have the quality time together that we had hoped for. "This condo was everything we were looking for to accommodate 5 adults (2 of which were couples) and 2 eleven year old girls. The pool was perfect for everyone, air conditioning worked a little too well for me (burrr), security was always on staff (not that we have ever felt like we needed it) and the grounds keeper was always available during the day."

"Nancy and Phil are wonderful hosts and it was a pleasure waking up to the view of the Caribe point bay and watching the sunset. The pool was unexpectedly warm and refreshing as it's a salt water pool. It's a great place to relax watching Nancy's flowers grow and Edgar the chameleon coming to visit (and eat food out of Phil's hand). My wife and I would enjoy staying there again."

"Our large family group enjoyed our stay at Palmetto Bay. As native Hondurans, the property was reminiscent of the natural flora and flauna that has been removed from more popular parts of the islands. The more natural feel was accompanied by an increased wildlife presence which has its pros and cons. Management was very responsive and the restaurant food was really good. We used the dive shop to go snorkeling which was also a 5 star experience. It was the little things that made this a 4 star...

"I could see this as a perfect place for a larger family vacation. Several condos in close proximity with one another with easy beach access. For a solo couple, it was still remarkable! We mostly had the place to ourselves but there was a an employee on the property to address any needs we had. We took the kayaks out every morning to a great swimming spot just a few strokes away. We’ll plan to be back! Quick access to airport. Check this place out!"

"We loved our stay. We wanted to be outside of the West Bay/West End chaos but close enough if we wanted to visit - and this location was ideal. We could go grocery shopping in Coxen Hole 10 minutes away and West End 15 minutes away. Having a home literally on the beach was such a delight. The home and furnishings were in great condition.
