"We loved our stay! Everything was excellent. The location is on a hill in a quiet neighborhood and is an easy walk to the centre, the malecón, Calle Enramadas, Parc Cespedes, the cathedral and museums. The water didn't work , and then we realized that the owener wanted to rent for another bigger group of friends... Incredible. "I arrived to the Hostel and was met by Laritza and Magalis. They were welcoming and so kind. They gave me information about the area, and gave me advice about where to go and what to see. I had booked dance lessons, but wasn't sure how to get to the location. Laritza called and got directions for me, and made sure I knew how to get there and back. The breakfast was delicious. A real luxury in Cuba, with an egg, fruit, good strong coffee and freshly squeezed juice. I ate on the patio...

"The Stay was very nice up until we checked out and the reception told us there was a towel missing out of the room. She was adamant that we had taken this and the case was the towel was never put in the room in the first instance. The hotel charges us 10 CUC which is about £8.00. It was not about the money but the fact that the hotel accused us of stealing a towel this completely spoilt our entire stay "

"The best and only way to experience Cuba is to stay with a Cuban family. The friendliest, most gracious, most soulful people on Earth. Masiel and Samuel are gentle, caring hosts who take great pride in giving their guests a wonderful experience in Santiago. Their home is only several blocks from the Center, which is a good distance for quiet respite. The breakfast was simply fabulous!!
