"Very well organised, exceptionally clean, good food, very comfortable bed, room facilities excellent. What else can I say. I would stay there again. Hotel owners were very helpful and friendly. As short walk out into the village and then further across the bridge offers an excellent restaurant if you feel the need to get out."

"The property is beautiful. However, the management has some serious issues. You can’t find the one person who is working, they leave at 6pm and lock the facilities. We booked the best suite three months in advance. 3 days before they told us they booked a wedding and would give us our first night free. They did in the smallest hobbit room ever. Still waiting for our refund as I write. No customer service. "

"We spent 3 weeks in Europe. The B&B de Oude Winning was by far, and we mean "by far" the best accommodation we had. The service was beyond the best and the accommodations were sparkling clean, modern, and everything was outstanding. We'd go back in a minute and we'd recommend it to anyone. "

" very large and spacious rooms and bathroom. They give you a fridge in your room with a variety of drinks for 2.50 each. Extra coffee pods also. There is not a 24 hr front desk. They leave at 2;00 and leave your room key in a box for you to get. Its very easy and they are in constant contact with you via email if you have any questions. NOTE: wifi was terrrible. "A remarkable boutique hotel with only seven rooms. Rooms are very hip and stylish as is the check in process. Our host met us at the door as we entered into a magical 1600 ‘ building with original small wooden spiral staircase. Stylish room with everything needed. Best of all is location ! Step out the door to the center of Christmas market, restaurants and shopping"

Peaceful and quaint

"The houseboat was very nicely maintained, the atmosphere very nice, and the hosts quite helpful. I wish I had more time to use both outdoor decks, but I had work obligations during the day. The only issue was wifi signal was not strong enough to hold a connection to my computer."

Our Maastricht trip

"This is a lovely B&B just outside Maastricht in the Belgian countryside. It’s run by a lovely couple who take great pride in their property and give excellent service to guests. We used the number 62 bus which leaves from the top of the road, about a 10 minute walk, and goes to Maastricht railway station. Breakfast was excellent, can’t recommend highly enough."
