casa accogliente in centro
Sono stato una settimana con la mia ragazza in questa casa nel centro di Catania e devo dire che mi sono trovato molto bene. Accogliente e anche se piccolina, dispone di ogni comodità. Si può facilmente uscire a piedi per raggiungere dei ristorantini di cucina tipica e allungando di una decina di minuti la passeggiata, si raggiunge la strada principale dove troverete il bar Savia dove gustare dei meravigliosi arancini. Il proprietario anche se a distanza si è dimostrato una persona squisita, dimostrandosi disponibile per qualsiasi evenienza.

Esperienza horror, assolutamente non consigliata
Purtroppo la gentilezza e la disponibilità di Alessandro e Rosy, la ragazza che ci ha accolto, non possono sopperire alla pessima esperienza che abbiamo vissuto in questo alloggio. Le foto dell'annuncio sono fuorvianti: grazie ad una scelta accurata della prospettiva e ritagli strategici spazi minuscoli appaiono quantomeno normali, invece nella realtà l'appartamento non è assolutamente adatto per il soggiorno di 4 adulti. Non avevamo spazio non solo per le valigie (1/testa di medie dimensioni), ma neanche per noi! Per ricavare lo spazio necessario per entrare fisicamente in casa abbiamo deciso di chiudere il divano letto e dormire in tre nel matrimoniale (vi lascio immaginare il comfort) e uno nel lettino accanto (per il quale, lungimiranti, appena entrati in casa avevamo chiesto lenzuola e federa, dato che non era stato preparato). L'arredamento della casa è vecchio e mal tenuto (il coperchio della lavatrice è rotto, il lavabo della cucina non è fissato adeguatamente, il divano-letto è completamente sfondato) e abbiamo trovato l'alloggio non adeguatamente pulito. L'ambiente più terrificante della casa è sicuramente il bagno: dalle foto non è chiaro, ma la porta dello stesso (che non si chiude!) affaccia sull'ingresso/salone/cucina e si apre su un cubicolo in cui a malapena ci stanno i sanitari. Purtroppo per noi abbiamo alloggiato qui tre notti e quindi non potevamo che cedere all'idea di farci una doccia lì dentro, ma nessuno di noi (e non siamo dei giganti) riusciva a stare agilmente nella stessa (sia in altezza che in "larghezza"); oltretutto il soffione della stessa era sporco di muffa. Non volendomi dilungare ulteriormente sulle condizioni della casa di per sé aggiungo due note sulla comodità e sulla posizione della stessa: grazie ad un rilevatore, quando non vi sono ospiti in casa, nella stessa non funziona l'elettricità, con il risultato di non avere nemmeno un alloggio fresco in cui rientrare nei caldi mesi estivi (tempo di raffreddamento del solo piano superiore: 30 min, tempo di raffreddamento del piano inferiore: mai misurato perché mai sperimentato); la casa si trova in un quartiere popolare, poco illuminato e poco frequentato, dove io e le mie amiche, senza la presenza di un ragazzo nel nostro gruppo, non saremmo state serene a rientrare a fine serata, all'interno di un vicolo separato dalla strada da un cancello che non si può chiudere a chiave. Mi dispiace sinceramente per questa recensione, ma per noi è NO.

Piccola, non funzionale e non funzionante
Abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti in questo appartamento, 5 adulti. Lo spazio vivibile era troppo poco. La casa non è adatta a ospitare più di 3 persone. La stanza da letto era in buone condizioni, era presente anche l'aria condizionata e 3 posti letto. Il divano, che sarebbe dovuto servire per altri due posti letto, era in pessime condizioni: non fungeva nè da divano (dato che lo scheletro di esso era in brutte condizioni), nè da letto in quanto la rete era sul punto di collassare verso il centro. Siamo stati costretti a dormire per terra. La cucina era quasi del tutto inutilizzabile: la macchina del caffè era sporca ed è stato necessario pulirla approfonditamente; il 4 fuochi era rotto, funzionava solo la piastra. I pensili della cucina erano danneggiati e sporchi all'interno, addirittura di polvere. Il bagno era improponibile: la doccia non presentava alcun riparo tranne che una tenda la cui funzionalità era pressoché nulla, rendendo il bagno una palude continua, senza tralasciare le dimensioni ridotte di esso e la mancanza di ricircolo dell'aria. Era presente una piccola finestra ma era insufficiente. Erano presenti una televisione e una lavatrice, entrambi inutilizzabili, in quanto la TV non era sintonizzata e la lavatrice aveva il coperchio danneggiato. La casa nel complesso potrebbe essere vivibile solo se resa funzionale e funzionante con qualche miglioria e accorgimento (soprattutto curandola maggiormente sotto il punto di vista igienico), ma non per più di 3 persone La zona non era delle migliori, ma si trovava molto vicino al centro di Catania se si ci sposta con un mezzo.
