Location is perfect, just a few steps from Etnea Road which is a very long street with lots of shops and restaurants. Room was clean enough and the bed was comfortable. "We stayed at the hotel Royal for 2 nights in October. The hotel is located just a 10 minute walk from the centre, however it is up quite a steep hill, so if you have a lot of baggage it’s not ideal. The room itself was ok, not as nice as the one shown in pictures but the bed was comfortable. Sadly the room smelled of feet and we had no toilet seat and had request one.One of the main reasons for booking was the jacuzzi, however we later found it was €30 per couple per hour to use. "Great location and excellent staff. Hotel rooms were nice but were obviously ageing, peeling paint and poor quality shower heads. That being said, was still worth staying for a day or so, but would be difficult to stay here for days on end. Otherwise a great experience. "

"Lovely hotel. Really well situated and just across the road from the airport bus. And a beautiful park. On a busy shopping street (but with none of the noise, at least not in our room which was on the second floor and facing into a courtyard). Breakfast was lovely with a good choice, high ceilings and nice features. Comfy bed. Would recommend. Only downside is that there is no lift so be prepared to carry luggage up the stairs. "
