It’s close proximity to Ferrara made it easy to see the historical highlights there, while it’s location in a rural village lent an authentic feel to our visit. Walking on the rural roads and dike along the Po was safe and easy. A lovely retreat!"

It was very quiet and in an idyllic countryside setting. "The property was in a lovely, quiet location in the historic centre of Ferrara. We enjoyed a comfortable, quiet stay. The only hitch was that we had not realised that the single bedroom is about four small flights of stairs down from the rest of the house. Both my husband and I require a toilet on the same floor as a bedroom. We also sleep in separate bedrooms. This was resolved by using the sofa bed. Beautiful clean apartment within walking distance to the grocery store and a short drive to several delicious local restaurants. Host even arranged a private pasta making class to be held in the apartment which was a highlight of our trip! Look forward to returning."
