"We stayed for only one night and upon stepping in immediately regretted not booking for more. The place is perfect, with beautiful decor and immaculately clean. It is right on the woods with a "children's forest" my children were obsessed with. The host went out of her way to provide detailed information and even a hand-drawn map. 10/10!"

First, the house is located beside a busy road where traffic is moving all hours of the day and night at 35-55 mph. For some, this isn't a big deal. For others, it's not as quiet as described. "I have wanted to stay in one of these vintage vacation cottages for years. We happened to see this listing for an upcoming trip to West Point. I highly recommend staying here. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The only slight issue was finding the driveway to property and the road noise. A sound machine was provided and it was useful. We had a great stay here."
