This was a great place to be for my family! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and the downstairs shower had 2 sides with 2 heads!! Great water pressure too! We will definitely come back here!!!
It was perfect for what we need. We went to explore surrounding area and to fish with a family group. Place fit all of us and was big enough that we didn’t fill like we were on top on each other. Host was very awesome and nice to work with to. Would book again for sure.
Nice to to have a place that would accomodate 8 adults and 7 children. Kids had fun spending time together at the house and also had fun in Price, Huntington state park, and Buckhorn draw.
Exactly as the pictires depict. Perfect space for large groups. It was only a short distance to Joes Valley and Huntington reservoirs. If you are on the fence aboit renting this place just do it!

Overall good
It waa ok, not great. The downstairs beds were very uncomfortable. The couches didnt always work
This spacious home was perfect for our group of 3 couples. It sleeps many more and would be perfect for multiple families. The nearby grocery store was fully stocked, and the home has a grill which we used. The location of the home was very convenient for exploring the Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry & The San Rafael Bridge & the Buckhorn Rock Art Panel.
There is an awesome 1947 Army Tunnel near Furniture Draw trail head. Both were great to explore!!
The host McKoy Allred answered our questions promptly which was appreciated. I would highly recommend this home.
Clean house. Functional for touring in that area. Ideal for travel to Buckwash, Joe's Valley, Wedge, San Rafael, Huntington State Park, and Nine Mile Canyon. Most mattresses were fine, a couple queen sizes downstairs were older and springy - not as comfortable. Downstairs "shared" showers are narrow, not good for larger people - but we did okay. Kids loved the video arcade. Neighbor's two dogs barked at us constantly. This prevented us from spending any significate time in the backyard or out on the deck. Once we were all in the house, we didn't hear them that much. Good communication with the host and friendly to deal with. We would stay here again.
Able to have 4 generations under one roof as we celebrated relatives wedding nearby. So much better than hotel rooms. Host was quick to respond to questions and very accommodating
We had a great time at Castle Dale. The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. Would absolutely recommend to stay there!
We loved our stay in Castle Dale, it was the perfect spot to explore much of central Utah! The house is very clean and up to date. There was plenty of room for 2 children, 1 teen and 6 adults. There are two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs. Bathrooms on both floors. We used the kitchen almost every night to make dinner, stocked with everything we needed. The area is very remote, but the house is still convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. The neighborhood felt very safe and the locals were extremely friendly.
We explored The Swell nearby more than once - both hiking and OHVing (highly recommended) - its very well signed and easy to navigate and there is tons to see. Also recommend the Prehistoric Museum, Goblin Valley and The Wedge at sunset. We would love to stay again.
The house is great. They've obviously put a lot of work into updating it inside and it was very clean. It's in a good location for staging excusions into the Swell and it accomodated our very large family group.
This place is great! Plenty of rooms, tons of beds, wonderful kitchen, great showers, and huge living room.
We were here to climb in Joe's Valley and this house was great to come back to and cook big meals and recover in. The house also has several crash pads that you can use which is very useful if you aren't able to bring all of yours.
The property owners are very sweet and live in town and are part of the community.
Definitely recommend!
We spent spring break exploring the swell. This place is central to all the fun we had planned. Enough space for all our family to come and stay. Appreciated all the seating room and beds. Nice living room to gather. Also liked the extra bathroom space. Thanks for the stay!
