"Fort Young Hotel is unique in it's historical structure of being built on a Fort. The Property is beautifully and breath taking with views of both the Ocean and Mountain and is in walking distance of the old and new Market, Botanical Gardens, DBS, many restaurants and supermarkets. I was even more impressed and pleased with their customer service where each employee who I encountered was helpful, warm, authentically pleasant and made my 1night experience at Fort Young Memorable! "I wish I'd had more than one night to relax at this little gem of a hotel on a little gem of an island nation. The hotel arranged a taxi from DOM airport, and I was welcomed warmly and thoughtfully upon arrival. My particular needs were met with great care. My room, really a suite, was well appointed and included a fully stocked kitchen. Everyone on staff was polite and accommodating. I had a late lunch at the hotel's restaurant. My meal was good, but the heat in the no-AC dining room and the constant need to shoo away flies made it a somewhat uncomfortable experience. This was the only downside, and it did not put any sort of damper on my stay. I look forward to returning if life takes me back to Dominica."
