"Casa Holmes is in a lovely little village and is impeccably clean with a completely private fantastic large pool. Lots of thoughtful touches iwhich is in a little old authentic Spanish village house . Great aircon in all bedrooms! The only SLIGHT drawbacks are that the stairs are quite steep with the last two steps being higher than others - there is a baby gate but for tiny children maybe not totally suitable - there is a handrail however. The surround of the pool is very dark so remember to...

Good little find.

"This was a good stop while we were property hunting. Although the room was smaller than we expected, it was clean and comfortable. I loved the sofa! We hoped the restaurant would be open, but must be more for the busy season. We found old town and the architecture was wonderful, then a good walk up to the fortress. If you do nothing else, go to the fortress. They said to allow an hour and half but we were there for almost 3hrs!"

Not so good

"The beds were uncomfortable and the wife was almost hurt when she sat up and the bed tilted. The towels were like sandpaper. We had to phone someone to get in, who didnt speak anu english which I know isnt expected in their own country. Fortunately I managed. Others might not. Location was the best part of the visit."

Better than the pictures

"We stayed for ten nights and had a wonderful time. Six adults seven children and a dog. The location is stunning even more beautiful than the photographs. Air conditioning in most bedrooms and the interior rooms were cool despite 35+ temp outside. The owner was great, cleaned the pool every day before we got up and was available if we needed anything, which in the event we did not. A perfect location to relax, and also explore the surrounding area."
