"We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a large private property in a quiet and peaceful rural setting about 3km from the beach. There are lots of great outdoor seating options. The cozy cottage had everything we needed. Laura was very nice and easy to contact."

"Lovely stay, came by train, without a car which we thought might be a bit of a gamble, but worked perfectly. Marco and Claudio were great and helpful at all times. Train service to lucca and pisa was great shops in the town all we needed. Lazy days by the pool and some trips out. Nicely rested! "

"The small house is in a secluded spot with fantastic views of Castiglione and the mountains, both from the terrace as well as the bedroom. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were a really nice addition. The owners welcomed us with traditional food and wine, which was very unexpected but very welcome when we arrived in the late afternoon. They also provided us with a lot of recommendations regarding both restaurants and fun things to do in the area. We highly recommend the house and plan to be back. "

It's also away from the center of the village, so there aren't many tourists; only those who stay in the same area. The owner responded promptly and was very good. The unit is good, for the most part. It is showing some age, with some updating needed, but nothing bad. The mattress was old, or at least overused and not in a good shape. Once we finally did arrive we returned to the base of the mountain extremely stressed without staying the night. VRBO should not be representing this property nor should any other broker of rentable properties."

Culture and swimming to be found with a car ride of 20 min, a beautiful mountain lake for swimming and nice little towns. "This home is in a beautiful location to come back to after touring busy towns. We grilled and sat on the patio to eat. Fiorella was so helpful and accommodating. She answered all of our questions and offerred locations to visit, places to eat and things to do, which were delicious and great scenery. There is no Air Conditioning but it is so cool at night A/C is not needed. There is a portable washer but it is good for small items like intimates only. We did wash other items but it takes a long...

"All of us thought this property was the worst we stayed at! Not enough towels or kitchen supplies no sheets for the pull out couch. They advertised air conditioning but only gave use a small fan also advertised a second bathroom that was locked the property was not clean and the dishes where dirty. they had an infestation of ants. Look for a different place."

"Hotels near steps from the train station. A great location for a day trip to Cinque Terra. Purchasing of train ticket and a day pass was quick and easy. The station is great for quick connections to other location in Italy. The close proximity to the train stations allow you extra time to sleep and recharge yourself for other adventures. "

Excellent view and adequate accommodation.

"This was one of our favorite stays on our trip. Nothing beats the view of the ocean and watching the clouds roll in with the church bell chiming in the background. Continental breakfast was great for the price of free. The only thing worth advising is that there are A LOT of steps to get up to the hotel, and with baggage it is not a task to be taken lightly. There is a second elevator in the town that would have solved this problem, but it is still closed for renovation. We managed though, and enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff and amazing location."

"Around a 10 minute walk from the train station and centrally located for restaurants and bars and around a 10 minute walk to the port. Check in is at a different location just around the corner and staff were friendly and helpful. Comfy bed, quiet location and great bakery just across the street. "

"It was very good. Staff extremely helpful and lots recommendations. Breakfast at the hotel very good choices, and would highly recommend taking the rate with breakfast included, unless you have a car. They have a restaurant very good too. Hotel has a nice terrace port view and great to have drinks that you get at the lobby bar. "
