The Hammock House

Charming 90 m2 renovated and independent house inserted in a small village on the hills of the Crete Senesi on the border with the renowned Chianti Classico region and surrounded by greenery among olive and cypress trees. Able to accommodate 4 people with 1 double bedroom, 2 sofa beds and 1 bathroom. Access to the structure is via 800 meters of dirt road not suitable for sports cars.
The private outdoor area, overlooking the countryside, is equipped with table and chairs for pleasant outdoor meals. From the small garden, a staircase leads to the reserved parking space.
Interior
The structure is on two levels and has been restored trying to keep intact the original features such as the walls with exposed bricks.
The entrance opens onto the living / dining room with kitchenette and a beautiful stone fireplace. The small but complete bathroom is located on the same floor. Access to the outdoor area is via the French door.
A staircase leads to the double bedroom on the lower floor characterized by a large vaulted window.

Lovely home!
If you are looking for a lovely place outside the city to relax and take in the quintessential Tuscany landscape…if you want a quiet and true farmhouse-like home, this is the place for you! We stayed here four nights and traveled to many of the small towns in Tuscany. Sabrina was delightful and extremely generous. She gave us her homemade olive oil from the olives in her grove, fresh Bolognese sauce to go with pasta and flatbread and Chianti wine. She helped us with our parking ticket and was wonderful to greet us. You will encounter a long pretty bumpy road lined with cypress trees as you make your way up the hill but it’s worth it!

Ein Traum Ferienhaus
Wir wurden von unserer Vermieterin sehr herzlich empfangen und sie war auch während des gesamten Aufenthaltes immer für uns da. Im Haus hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Es ist sehr geräumig und super gemütlich. Von da aus kann man sehr viel unternehmen. Wir haben fast die komplette Toskana bereist. Und dank unserer lieben Vermieterin auch viele gute Tips bekommen. Alles in allem war es einer der schönsten Urlaube hier und wir kommen gern wieder.

wundervolle Unterkunft im typisch toskanischen Stil
wir (Ehepaar 50+) mit Hund haben einen wundervollen und erholsamen Urlaub im Ferienhaus verbracht. Das Haus ist im typisch toskanischen Stil eingerichtet. Das Schlafzimmer im Souterrain war bei den heißen Temperaturen schön kühl und angenehm. Sabrina ist eine sehr herzliche Vermieterin, die jederzeit mit Tipps zu Ausflügen und Restaurants zur Stelle war. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Auffahrt ist ein paar Hundert Meter unbefestigte Straße, wie man es in der Toskana öfter hat. Sollte man vielleicht wissen, falls man ein nicht dafür geeignetes Auto hat ;-)

A little dream in Tuscany
I stayed with my partner and dog at Sabrinas place. It was very magical. We loved the location and the interior. It made us feel very cosy and almost like home. The apartment has everything you need. It is also perfect if you have a dog because the terrace is fenced. We were a bit sad to leave after 5 days. We know that we will come back for sure :)

Localização excelente e bela área externa com uma vista deslumbrante da Toscana. Destaque para a anfitriã, Sabrina, sempre gentil e atenciosa, pronta para nos orientar e dar as melhores sugestões sobre a região - nos sentimos em casa. Tolle Unterkunft im toskanischen Landhausstill bei einer Gastgeberin mit viel Herz
Wir haben uns in dieser Unterkunft von Anfang bis zum Ende unserer 2 Wochen superwohl gefühlt. Schon bei der Anfahrt zum Haus über den von Zypressen gesäumten Feldweg nach oben, tauchte man sofort in das Flair der Toskana ein. Hoch gelegen auf einem Hügel ist der Blick über die toskanische Landschaft überwältigend. Von der Terrasse aus schaut man in das Chiantigebiet hinein, auf der anderen Seite in die Crete Senesi, eine besondere Lage der Unterkunft. Das Haus ist abgeschieden, aber auch gut gelegen, um mit dem Auto Ausflüge zu den Highlights der Toskana zu unternehmen. Nach Siena ist es nur eine Viertelstunde Fahrzeit. Die Ausstattung des Hauses entsprach der Unterkunftsbeschreibung, es mangelte uns an nichts. Mit der Nord-Ausrichtung des Schlafzimmers und der Lage im Souterrain war es nachts angenehm, auch bei Außentemperaturen von über 30°C. Alle Fenster waren zudem mit Fliegengittern ausgestattet, so dass diese jederzeit zum Lüften offen stehen konnten. Die bereitgestellten Ventilatoren wurden von uns nicht einmal benötigt. Das Haus verbindet von der Einrichtung her den toskanischen Stil mit den nötigen Annehmlichkeiten, die es für einen entspannten Urlaub bedarf. Kurzum: Genau was wir suchten, haben wir mit dieser Quartier auch gefunden. Übertroffen wird die Unterkunft nur noch von der Herzlichkeit der Gastgeberin, die sich regelmäßig nach unserem Wohlbefinden und unseren Wünschen erkundigte und uns in allen Bereichen ihre Hilfe anbot. Zudem überraschte sie uns mit toskanischen Spezialitäten, die waren grandios. Wir fühlten uns von der ersten Sekunde an als Freunde bei Sabrina willkommen, soviel Herzlichkeit wurde uns von Ihr entgegengebracht. Vielen Dank dafür! Die Kommunikation in Englisch war problemlos. Wir haben diesen Urlaub sehr genossen, fühlten uns bei Sabrina „pudelwohl“ und sind uns sicher, dass wir in diese schöne Unterkunft zurückkehren werden.
