"This is a beautiful property where we, unfortunately, stayed on Easter Sunday. We will planning a trip to Mt. Etna on 4/21, so it seemed like a good choice for the day before. We had hoped we could be accommodated at their restaurant since we were staying at the hotel, but we were told it was full. Had we known the time we would arrive, we could have made a reservation but we were traveling from Cefalu through mountains and had no idea when we would arrive. We think they could have had one...

From our room we could see both the coast and the sea of Riposto and Giarre and from the other side the volcano. Breakfast was very tasty with locale goods, some directly made on spot. "A wonderful property in such a beautiful setting. Quiet and peaceful, surrounded by vineyards with views of Mount Etna and the village of Castiglione perched on a hillside. We loved having access to the swimming pool, the rooms are a good size and the food and wine was excellent. Massimo is a superb host and is exceptionally welcoming and very friendly, providing good local information.
