"We had a family gathering, with family from the UK and South Africa. This was the first time we were all together in 14 years (12 people), so expectations were high. The villa was great. "Property has potential but the attention to detail from the owner/management company was really poor. Pool wasn’t clean on arrival and was murky. Only three useable/working sunbeds by the pool. No kettle in the kitchen. No pool balls and cues available despite being advertised. No working table tennis table, infact the table was shocking condition. "The villa is absolutely brilliant, its extremely spacious and has every facility you need. My only criticism is its location. The area where it is located is really nice, very private and quiet. However, there are no shops near by and the supermarket is an hours "

"We had a fantastic stay in Villa Encina. Situated on the edge of a town with all amenities close by, it is a spacious, modern villa with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The outside space is lovely and has spectacular views. We loved the outdoor kitchen for bbq-ing and hanging out together, and it also provided much needed shade. "The home was perfect for our group with ample sleeping for the kids we traveled with. Located close to coffee shops and restaurants, everything is walkable in this area. A close walk to the train from the house to get to Barcelona was a big plus for the home. We will definitely be staying here again if we may it back to Spain."

"We traveled to Barcelona to celebrate my 50th birthday with family and friends. The villa was beautiful, clean and a wonderful experience. We were close enough to the train station to get to 99% of the places we wanted to go! Many stairs in the villa so keep that in mind if you have an older group. Hope to go back in the future!! Marcus and Olga assisted us so wonderfully while at the villa! "

"We had mixed feelings about our stay. The hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with, which was appreciated. However, there were several issues that detracted from the experience. We were unable to use the pool until the fourth day due to a salt water imbalance from heavy rains, but the thick mildew on the pool’s sides suggested a lack of maintenance. "Stayed at the Villa in August 2023 with by husband and 2 teenage boys. The place is clean, comfortable and large. The views from the balcony are stunning and you can spend hours just looking into the valley and the mountains across. Mosquitoes was a problem until we went and bought the right equipment we needed to plug in. The pool is lovely although we found it quite shallow. Shop with all you need is 3 minutes away driving. Perfect place if you want a quiet, calm holiday like we did."

"The property is large and suits a large group. It was close to the train station for trips to Barcelona. The national park nearby was breathtaking. We also toured the countryside and went to Montserrat. Unfortunately it was unseasonably cold during our stay. Overall we enjoyed our time"

"Belle maison, vue magnifique mais pas de parking, étonnant pour une maison avec 10 couchages donnant sur une rue de montagne très étroite. Aucune sécurité enfant autour de la piscine et manque de circulation intérieure entre les étages ce qui aurait compensé le terrain très escarpé pour l'accès à la piscine et à la terrasse jeux. Inadmissible pour une location de ce prix : il a fallu réclamer le remboursement de la caution qui n'était toujours pas effectué 3 semaines après notre départ !"
