"We stayed for 9 nights at the end of July 2024 and had a lovely time. The accommodation is great and large enough for a family of 9 (teens +). The host is brilliant and personally met us despite arriving at midnight. A car is needed to get to any amenities, but within a few minutes drive there are plenty of restaurants and the beaches are fabulous. Recommend a visit and boat trip from Cefalu."

This beautiful property had everything we needed; gorgeous views, multiple eating areas, lovely pool, fruit trees, lovely bedrooms, table tennis area, BBQ and even a pizza oven. Plus Amica, the gorgeous and adorable owners dog. The photographs do not do it justice! We had a great two weeks, and wished it could have been longer The local area is great, The hosts were charm themselves and so helpful. Top quality holiday location . "

"This villa was really comfortable for our family. It does need a little updating but the view alone is worth it. The outside is magnificent with a huge pool overlooking the gorgeous water and all of Cefalu. The owner Giovanni was always on call if you needed anything and was very accommodating. "Nice home but very quiet definitely need A car to go shopping,eating and exploring. The pool is very small with no seating area Or shade which is a shame we only used it once during our 2 week holiday. We spent our time on the private beach which is beautiful, €28 a day for the four of us. We hired a car to explore the island, Cefalu is beautiful. No WiFi, no restaurant, no shops, no bar with in walking distance"

"Place is ok. But too many aspects that didn’t make it great for us. Linen had to be paid for and was not of great quality. Bath cannot be used which means precarious standing in bath for poor flow shower. No shower screen or partition between shower spray and rest of the room. It seems like a moan, we were comfortable but could have been so much better than it was. I believe the owner should consider spending some money on the place and improving it."

"Rental was clean, quiet and spacious, and location was ideal: 15-20 minute drive to Cefalu, close to a grocery store and minutes from a great local restaurant. Beach was a short walk away on a private road. And upper terrace was perfect for watching sunsets. Residence was tricky to find, and we had some miscommunication between us and host’s representative. Castelbuono is well served for bars, restaurants and points of interest. It sits in the Madonie nature reserve so is good for walking and wildlife ."
